Topic: Corporate Governance/IT Governance

Overview

As part of this course, each student is required to submit a presentation about his/her project. The student may use either PowerPoint or Keynote. The presentation must be recorded using a screencast (video) software, save the file with .mov or mp4 extension,and uploaded in FSO. The student must treat this as if he/she is giving a presentation to a real client, therefore attention and effort in the overall delivery process should be considered.

Final Project Presentation

Students will research into Corporate Governance/IT Governance. The following are questions students will discuss and elaborate on in their own words:

1. Define Corporate governance, IT governance and their relationship

2. What are the common IT governance frameworks? Briefly explain each

3. Discuss the purpose, objectives, and benefits of IT governance

4. Discuss the risk of lack of IT governance in an organization

5. Share success stories of IT governance implementation at 2-3 organizations
